Maxxis UK Motocross Round 4 Lyng, Norfolk
Although he scored three confidence boosting wins, Evgeny Bobreshev (CAS Honda) didn't have things his own way in the MX1 class. His CAS Honda Team partner, Gareth Swanepoel put in by far his strongest ride of the season with 3-2-2 performances to close in on Sword's current second place after the CCM rider had no answer to the speed of the CAS pairing, plus current Champion, Brad Anderson (PAR Honda) on the day. Sword had to settle for a trio of fourth places and was not able to challenge the other three. Anderson looked so determined on the deep sandy track, but apart from the first moto where he fought with Bobreshev for the whole 25 minutes to finish less than a second adrift, he had to settle for an on form Swanepoel taking two second positions away from him in motos two and three.
