The penultimate round of the MCE British Superbike Championship took place at Silverstone GP circuit. The Superbikes put on an amazing 2 races with the Showdown contenders fighting it out at the front for both. Hopkins pulled off victory in the first race, but it was Josh Brookes who stole the show with a superb performance to grab victory in the second. (see more)
The Fuchs-Silkolene Supersport Championship saw a huge swing in proceedings with Ben Wilson suffering what can only be described as a disastrous weekend and Alistair Seeley a perfect weekend, with double race victories and goes to Brands with a 14 lead ahead of Ben.
Superstock 1000 again saw a thrilling race with Luke Quigley taking the win with less than 2/10ths separating the top 3 and Richard Cooper on the Buildbase BMW being crowned Superstock 1000 champion.
Echoing Ian's thought's it's scary how quick the season has passed. It only seems like yesterday I nervously walked into Brands Hatch media centre for my first event, now in less than a week I'll be back for the final round of the season; where has the season gone? (see less)
