WSB 2011 - Donington Park Round 2 #2

A great start to the year and straight into World Superbikes, and what weather on the Friday - a perfect start. Donington Park were extremely fortunate with the weather so early in the year it could have been so different as memories of Brands a couple of years ago. There was talk about teams protesting of the early meeting but it turned out alright in the end. Not quite the brit results we hoped for having been robbed in the Supersport by two of our hopefuls in Sam Lowes and James Ellison but Gino Rea and Leon Camier gave the crowd something to cheer about. Max Biaggi gave us some entertainment over the weekend with some unusual antics to say the least, not really multiple world champion behaviour.
