2012 MCE British Superbikes Rd 2 Thruxton

Round 2 of the British Superbike championship took place at Thruxton, near Andover in Hampshire. The airfield circuit is the fastest in the UK and home to the 140mph corner Church. The weather was much better than the previous round although we did still have rain on Saturday which made qualifying a bit of a lottery deciding what tyres to use and when to go out to set a time. Race day and we were treated to another new victor with Ian Lowry taking race 1 and Josh Brookes getting his account up and running with victory in race 2. My theme for this weekend was clouds...
