BSB 2009 Round 3 - Donington Park #1
Round three of the 2009 British Superbikes series, held at the infamous Donington Park circuit. Airwaves Yamaha take the double with Leon Camier winning the first race, but fell back through the order in race-two due to a technical problem with his bike, allowing team-mate James Ellison to take the win after a fight with Chris Walker. Also, Sylvain Guintoli was taken out of the weekend and the next few races due to a serious accident involving HM Plant Honda rider Josh Brookes and Guintoli on a warm-up lap when Brookes rode into Guintoli, breaking his leg very badly. Brookes has been awarded a one-race ban for causing the accident. (see more)
