After the disappointing summer we've had, everyone just needed to get out and enjoy themselves when the first bit of good weather presented itself. So with this in mind, the infamous LB member Flatout organised another of his hugely successful rideouts for everyone. The research was done, the forum was updated to let people know what was planned and on the day, 40 odd riders turned up for the ride, meeting at the Ace Cafe and at a second stop towards East London where Andy and Chris would organise those meeting there. The morning was cold, but sunny and dry, so with enough layers on, we all departed for a great ride up to a quiet seaside town in Norfolk about 150 miles from London. The ride was great with few fuel stops and no incidents or mis-navigations! A brilliant set of fast and flowing A-roads saw the whole group have fun, regardless of personal ability, helped by the Corner-Man system LB adopt for all ride-outs, ensuring nobody needs to know where they're going and nobody has to ride beyond their limit or preference.
One at the seaside, we spent a couple of hours filling up on the defacto fish & chips lunch, admiring all the different bikes that were already there for a bike-meet and a then the arrival of a large Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG) collective who had the same thought as us it seemed; to get out and enjoy the weather.
The way back was via a slightly different route, but just as much fun, and some say more-so than the way there. Stopping on the outskirts of London before everyone split up and went their own way, we said our goodbyes and took a group photo (minus about ten people who had already split off earlier).
A huge thanks goes to those involved in making this yet another great rideout for LB members. Including Flatout, AndyP69, Chris, Keti and everyone who came along and made it a great day out! Roll on the next one! (see less)
